Morpeth Town Hall

Set in the heart of Morpeth’s historic market town, we provide a distinctive civic setting for intimate ceremonies and larger celebrations. Our grand Ballroom combines traditional character with impressive original features, including wood-panelled walls, large windows and an elaborate fireplace, creating an elegant backdrop for important occasions. For smaller gatherings, our Anteroom provides a more intimate setting with space for up to eight guests. We are supported by a dedicated Ceremony Co-ordination Team who guide couples through the booking process, explain the legal requirements and help personalise their ceremony. Our services include marriages, civil partnerships, commitment ceremonies, naming ceremonies and renewal of vows. We also offer a beautiful staircase that provides a memorable setting for photographs. Located at Market Place, we place guests close to the centre of Morpeth while providing a historic and formal environment for ceremonies. Our Ballroom can accommodate up to 80 guests, making us suitable for both intimate occasions and larger wedding ceremonies.
