Borders Events Centre is a large, flexible event venue set within 40 acres of parkland at Springwood Park in Kelso. We combine a substantial indoor event space with extensive outdoor grounds, giving organisers the flexibility to hold very different types of events in one location. Our 1,000 m² Springwood Pavilion is a blank canvas that can be divided into different sizes and adapted for conferences, exhibitions, weddings, dinner dances, formal functions and product launches. Outside, our parkland provides space for festivals, agricultural shows, vehicle rallies, sporting events and other large-scale outdoor activities. We also provide a professional kitchen, on-site parking, camping and caravan facilities, and additional event options such as staging and bar facilities. Our location, a short walk from Kelso town centre and close to the River Tweed, makes us accessible to visitors from across the Scottish Borders, Scotland and Northern England.
We provide our main multi-purpose pavilion as a flexible blank canvas for large conferences, exhibitions, weddings, formal functions, dinner dances and product launches. The hall measures 42m × 24m and can be divided into three sections.
We offer our Committee Room as a more intimate space for smaller meetings and supporting activities. It can also complement larger events taking place in the main pavilion.
We offer extensive parkland for outdoor events, including festivals, agricultural sales, vehicle rallies, caravan events and sporting activities. The grounds include accessible roads and camping facilities.
