Shortflatt Tower

Shortflatt Tower is our exclusive-use country estate in Belsay, Northumberland, where we combine historic character with contemporary event facilities. Our estate dates back to 1257 and provides a beautiful setting surrounded by private grounds, enchanting walled gardens, ancient woodland and open countryside. We welcome couples and guests for memorable weddings and celebrations, while we also accommodate corporate and business events, away days and team-building activities. Our newly constructed Woodland Suite provides a contemporary glass-walled setting surrounded by woodland, accommodating up to 160 guests for ceremonies and dining and up to 250 guests for evening celebrations. We also offer The Lawn as an outdoor ceremony setting, alongside The Vaulted Room and Courtyard Bar for parts of the wedding experience. Our on-site accommodation includes The Manor House and luxury cottages, while our spa and Fullerton Cottage provide additional facilities for wedding stays. We aim to make every event personal, comfortable and memorable, with our team supporting guests throughout.
