Northside Farm is a family-owned, exclusive-use events and wedding venue set within the Northumberland countryside at Horsley. The estate combines converted traditional farm buildings with landscaped gardens, courtyards, fields, woodland and on-site accommodation. The venue was developed from a working dairy farm and began operating as a wedding venue in 2016. It now offers all-season wedding celebrations as well as corporate meetings, conferences and other events. For corporate events, the venue's principal indoor space is its Barn, which the current events page lists at 150 theatre capacity and 250 events capacity. The Barn has sandstone walls, large windows overlooking the countryside, exposed beams, underfloor heating and integrated presentation facilities. The Gingang is a circular room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a vaulted ceiling. It has a 90-person theatre capacity and is particularly suitable as a breakout room, yoga/wellness space or ceremony room. The venue also provides a fully stocked bar, landscaped open spaces, an outdoor courtyard and extensive fields suitable for marquees and team-building activities. It has on-site accommodation comprising 10 glamping pods, four cottages and the renovated Farmhouse Cottage, together with camping areas.
The Barn is Northside Farm's principal indoor event space. Its converted farm architecture features sandstone walls, exposed beams, large windows overlooking the fields and underfloor heating. It includes a screen, projector and PA system and is suitable for conferences, weddings, dinners, parties, product launches and larger private events.
The Gin Gang serves as a dedicated, intimate ceremony room holding up to 90 guests. This striking, circular space features historic sandstone walls, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a magnificent rustic vaulted ceiling. Natural light floods in from all directions, creating an enchanting, fairy-tale setting for exchanging your marriage vows.
The Courtyard is a flagstone outdoor area adjoining the Barn. It features an outdoor fireplace, seating and a covered seating section decorated with fairy lights. It is intended as a gathering and social space rather than a separately sized conference room, making it suitable for informal receptions and outdoor portions of events.
Northside Farm's extensive open spaces include landscaped lawns and surrounding fields with countryside views. They can accommodate outdoor activities, team-building programmes, wellness activities and marquees for larger events. The venue specifically states that its open spaces can accommodate up to 500 guests, depending on event configuration.
