Sledmere House & Barns gives us a beautiful historic setting in the Yorkshire Wolds for weddings, celebrations, conferences and other special occasions. We bring together the character of our historic country house, landscaped gardens, parkland and distinctive event spaces to give organisers a range of ways to create their occasion. Our House provides elegant settings for civil ceremonies, drinks receptions and wedding celebrations, while our Sykes Barn offers a more relaxed and characterful setting with exposed features and its own courtyard. We also have the Courtyard Room and Marquee Lawn for events requiring a different atmosphere or layout. Our experienced events team works with organisers to plan the details of their day, from ceremonies and receptions through to dining and evening celebrations. We offer catering, parking and accessible facilities, with accommodation available on the estate.
