Located within the National Space Centre in Leicester, we offer the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium as an immersive event environment unlike a conventional meeting or conference room. Our 192-seat planetarium surrounds guests with a full-dome experience, making it suitable for presentations, lectures, screenings, breakfast meetings, evening events and wedding ceremonies. Alongside the Planetarium, clients can incorporate the Shuttle Suite, Rocket Tower, Soyuz Lounge and Hub of the galleries into wider event programmes. The Shuttle Suite provides flexible meeting rooms, while the Rocket Tower creates a striking reception setting beneath its 42-metre structure. For larger evening events, the Hub of the galleries provides access to interactive exhibits and can be combined with other areas. We also provide customised planetarium presentations through our in-house creative team, alongside catering, technical support and accessible facilities.
We provide the UK's largest planetarium, with fixed seating for 192 guests and an immersive full-dome environment. It is suitable for conferences, lectures, presentations, screenings, meetings, evening events and wedding ceremonies.
We offer a flexible conference suite that can be divided into four rooms: Columbia, Discovery, Endeavour and Atlantis. The full suite accommodates up to 200 delegates and works for meetings and larger conferences.
We provide a compact meeting room within the Shuttle Suite, accommodating up to 30 theatre-style, 20 cabaret, 16 classroom or 12 boardroom. It suits smaller meetings and breakout sessions.
We offer the largest individual Shuttle Suite room, accommodating up to 60 theatre-style, 40 cabaret, 32 modern classroom or 28 boardroom. It works well for meetings, workshops and presentations.
We provide a smaller Shuttle Suite room for focused meetings and breakout sessions, accommodating up to 30 theatre-style, 30 cabaret, 16 classroom or 20 boardroom
We offer a flexible Shuttle Suite room accommodating up to 50 theatre-style, 30 cabaret, 24 classroom or 20 boardroom, making it suitable for smaller conferences and meetings.
We provide a striking 42-metre-high setting beneath the centre's iconic rocket display. The Rocket Tower accommodates up to 300 for receptions or 100 for dinner, making it suited to evening events.
We offer the Soyuz Lounge as a relaxed hospitality and reception space, with capacity for up to 300 guests. It can complement larger evening events and provides a space-themed setting for drinks and networking.
We provide the Hub of our interactive galleries for larger receptions, dinners, product launches and parties. It accommodates up to 500 reception, 300 dinner or 350 theatre-style.
