At The Golden Lion Hotel, we combine more than two centuries of Scottish hospitality with comfortable modern facilities in the heart of Stirling. We have welcomed guests since 1786 and provide a distinctive setting for weddings, conferences, meetings, celebrations and other important occasions. Our hotel offers 66 comfortable bedrooms alongside our characterful Cronies Bar & Restaurant and Piano Lounge, giving guests the opportunity to dine, relax and stay with us under one roof. For events, we provide a choice of function rooms ranging from an intimate interview room for two people to our large conference facilities accommodating up to 200 delegates. Our stunning Regency Ballroom can welcome up to 250 evening wedding guests and features traditional high-corniced ceilings, a large dance floor and its own bar area. We also have a full Wedding Licence, allowing couples to host their ceremony and celebrations in one location. Our experienced events team works closely with organisers to create well-managed and memorable occasions.
