Th’Owd Tithe Barn

We are a traditional, family-friendly pub in the heart of Garstang, overlooking the marina and River Wyre. Our characterful building dates back as early as 1710, when it was originally a post-medieval tithe barn used for storing grain and corn. Today, we combine that historic character with a welcoming pub atmosphere, seasonal food and a well-stocked bar featuring local ales and a range of drinks. Our rear garden provides a relaxed outdoor setting where friends and families can meet throughout the year. We also host regular community events, including family fun days, live music and quiz nights, making us a local hub for entertainment as well as food and drink. Whether you are joining us for a meal, a few drinks, a family occasion or one of our community events, we aim to provide a comfortable and informal setting in the centre of Garstang.
