Middlesbrough Golf Club

Middlesbrough Golf Club is an established 18-hole, par-70 parkland golf club, founded in 1908 and located in the countryside approximately five miles south of Middlesbrough. The course was designed by renowned golf architect James Braid and provides views towards the Cleveland Hills. Alongside golf facilities, the club operates a modern clubhouse specifically marketed for functions, meetings and events. The clubhouse has two principal event spaces. The larger function room is a flexible 128 m² space with panoramic windows overlooking the course and can accommodate up to 110 people in theatre layout. It has a private entrance, natural daylight, a fully stocked bar, dance floor, large-screen TV and integrated PA system. The room can also be configured in lounge, U-shape, classroom and cabaret layouts. For smaller events, the adjacent meeting/dining room provides space for up to 60 people, while the club separately describes its private dining room as seating 45 guests. This appears to refer to the same smaller room in different descriptions, so it should not be counted twice. The venue is particularly suitable for birthday parties, christenings, wedding receptions, funerals, charity fundraisers, business meetings, presentations, training, launches and golf-society events.
