The Market Hall Conference Centre

Located in the heart of Wigton on the Solway Plain in North Cumbria, The Market Hall Conference Centre combines the character of our historic 1882 building with modern facilities for meetings, conferences and community events. We provide six versatile rooms, including our spacious Main Hall, three conference suites and two smaller meeting rooms. Our Main Hall can accommodate up to 180 guests in theatre-style seating, while our smaller spaces provide more intimate settings for meetings, training sessions, workshops and individual appointments. We provide flexible room layouts, a projector and screen, conference camera with intelligent speaker tracking, integrated sound equipment and free Wi-Fi to support different event requirements. Our on-site catering facilities and Twelve62 café provide refreshments for delegates, while the venue's central Wigton location makes us convenient for visitors travelling across North Cumbria. We operate as a not-for-profit community venue, supporting conferences, training, community activities and events that bring people together.
