Trevelyan College, Durham University

We are Trevelyan College, a distinctive Durham University college located on Elvet Hill and known for our unique hexagonal architecture, attractive grounds and lively programme of academic, cultural and social activities. We offer a range of facilities that support meetings, talks, performances, rehearsals, formal dinners and college events. Our Dowrick Suite is a 60-seat theatre equipped with professional lighting and audio technology, making us particularly suitable for lectures, talks, musical performances and theatrical productions. We also provide a soundproof rehearsal and recording room, several smaller practice rooms and the Sir James Knott Hall for larger music and theatre rehearsals. Beyond our arts facilities, we have extensive grounds, gardens, sporting facilities, a library, study spaces, an IT suite, group study areas and social spaces including Trevs Bar. Our Dining Hall hosts formal dinners, while our grounds accommodate larger outdoor activities and events. We also provide residential accommodation and catering as part of the College environment.
