W+P 1 is Malmaison York's largest individual Work + Play meeting room. It combines flexible corporate functionality with contemporary design and presentation technology. The room works particularly well for conferences, training, workshops and presentations and can accommodate up to 60 people theatre-style or 32 in cabaret configuration.
W+P 2 is the hotel's medium-sized flexible meeting room, suitable for meetings, workshops, presentations and training. It provides several seating configurations and can also be joined with neighbouring Work + Play rooms when a larger event is required. Its maximum individual theatre capacity is 48 people.
W+P 3 is the smallest of Malmaison York's three principal Work + Play rooms. It provides a flexible environment for smaller conferences, workshops, training sessions and corporate meetings. Its theatre configuration accommodates up to 28 people, while the room can be combined with W+P 1 and W+P 2 for larger events.
The three Work + Play rooms can be combined using their flexible room configuration to create a substantially larger event environment. This arrangement is the hotel's principal large-conference solution and allows Malmaison York to accommodate events of up to 180 people, making the venue suitable for larger conferences and corporate gatherings.

Malmaison York's six individual Work + Play meeting pods are compact spaces designed for focused meetings and collaborative work. Each pod accommodates up to six people and includes contemporary décor, air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, presentation screens and video-conferencing capability. They can be hired by the hour, half-day or full day.
The Private Dining Room provides an intimate dining environment for small celebrations, executive meals and private gatherings. The current Malmaison York private-events page lists capacity for up to 10 people for dinner. It is best suited to intimate dining rather than conferences or conventional meetings.
Sora is Malmaison York's rooftop restaurant and one of the hotel's strongest options for private social events. It offers panoramic views across York and can accommodate group dining and private events. The current official page says the private dining room accommodates up to 40 guests, while the entire rooftop can be booked for a celebration.
Chez Mal Brasserie & Bar is the hotel's principal all-day restaurant and bar and can contribute to private events, dining and hospitality. The hotel's event brochure identifies the restaurant as having 124 seats, including a private dining area for 10.
