Formerly, the 17th Century hunting lodge for the Estate, Auberge du Lac is now a unique, tranquil waterside restaurant.It can be offered on an exclusive-use basis for your wedding, the nature of exclusive use ensures there will be no other dining taking place on your chosen day, allowing yourself, family and guests the privacy of Hertfordshire’s award-winning restaurant. The venue offers a perfect solution for weddings of up to 40 guests for your Civil Ceremony and 60 for your Reception and evening festivities.

The Oak Room at The Melbourne Club offers the perfect combination of beautiful scenery and relaxed, contemporary surroundings. Fully licensed for civil ceremonies, the Oak Room with incredible floor to ceiling glass doors and a private bar has an exclusive terrace for Blessings or for you and your guests to relax on in the evening. The Oak Room can hold up to 120 for your ceremony and wedding breakfast with capacity for 150 for an evening reception.

The Brocket Hall Estate accommodates large marquee events on its historic 543-acre parkland, providing a flexible option for celebrations that exceed the 150 guest capacity of the main house and indoor function rooms. The marquee has the capacity to accommodate 400 to 700 guests.

Used by many of the world’s major organisations and the scene of many political conferences, Brocket Hall’s lined oak Boardroom was designed with meetings of all sizes and formats in mind. Specially commissioned leather chairs and oak tables ensure the comfort of delegates alongside state-of-the-art audio visual and conferencing facilities. It can seat 42 to 150 delegates.

The perfect business hub for your conference or away day, the Warren Suite is one of the latest additions to the house, offering you a complete office space for your conference or business meeting. With a large communal area, the unique Glass Office and 3 individual syndicate rooms, the Warren Suite offers the ideal space for any situation.

The Glass Office at Brocket Hall is a unique, modern meeting space located within the Warren Suite. It is explicitly designed as a small-scale, focus-driven environment that comfortably accommodates 10 guests in a boardroom or meeting layout.

The syndicate rooms are part of the Warren Suite, a modern corporate and conference addition to the historic Hertfordshire estate . There are 3 individual syndicate rooms designed to offer privacy for breakout sessions, workshops, or smaller team discussions during meetings. Each syndicate room comfortably seats up to 8 delegates.

The Ballroom is one of the most breathtaking rooms in the Hall. The guests of today live and breathe a history and elegance that has been prominent for centuries. Dating back to the start of the 1760’s, the Ballroom has always been a significant part of the Hall, with the grand ceiling costing half of the expense of the whole House. At 60 feet long, 30 feet across and ceilings of 30 feet high, the Ballroom is a room with both grandeur in scale and in decor. It can hold up to 150 guests.

Occupying the bayed-out west end of the Hall, the Library has stunning views across the Estate from the Paine Bridge down to Auberge du Lac. It boasts spectacular Chippendale bookshelves – one of two that were created by the renowned designer. The Library offers a lot of natural daylight in a bright and airy room, providing a more intimate experience to that of the larger spaces in the house, making it ideal for meetings and intimate dining events. It has the capacity to hold about 16 to 50 guests.

Overlooking the Broadwater Lake and Melbourne golf course, Auberge du Lac is a very special haven in the summer months. For an intimate and exclusive event, the terrace can be hired for private parties, weddings and business meetings.

As well as providing our golf members with a private and sociable space, the Oak Room in The Melbourne Club is also a beautiful venue for exclusive events. With floor-to-ceiling glass windows enveloping the oak-beamed room leading onto a spacious terrace overlooking the lake, this venue is perfect for summer events.
