The Reid Rooms is an award-winning, exclusive-use rural wedding and event venue located in the picturesque Essex countryside. Originally built nearly 200 years ago as stables for the working horses of Marks Hall Farm, it has been family-owned and operated for over 25 years, beautifully blending modern facilities with authentic, historic character.

In this setting, you can seat up to 100 guests (with additional standing room if required) and, with it’s exposed timber beams strewn with twinkling fairy lights, you and your guests will enjoy a relaxed and romantic ceremony come rain or shine.
Our fully licensed and beautiful outdoor ceremony pavilion is the perfect spot for a truly romantic country wedding. Seat as many guests as you like on rustic timber benches to watch as you make your vows, surrounded by uninterrupted vistas of the stunning rural landscape.

Our fully licensed pavilion offers you all the romance of an outdoor ceremony in a secluded, landscaped garden. Why not make the most of our expansive grounds by holding your reception drink in the adjoining garden of Marks Hall Farmhouse, our beautiful, grade two listed accommodation. A perfect place to have photos with a backdrop of our stunning moat.
