Our Waterside Building provides a modern setting for conferences, meetings, research events, executive education and professional gatherings in Durham. Opened as our new Business School location in April 2025, the building has been developed as a hub for entrepreneurship, innovation and knowledge exchange. We welcome academic, business and professional communities for conferences, seminars, workshops, training sessions and networking activities, supported by contemporary facilities designed for collaborative learning and engagement. Our venue has already hosted major events including the MBA Alumni Conference, international DBA conferences and research conferences, demonstrating its suitability for both academic and professional programmes. We also provide a supportive environment for executive education, with the building serving as home to our Executive Education provision, MBA and DBA programmes. Accessibility is considered within our event arrangements, with the Waterside Building providing step-free access. We can support organisers seeking a contemporary university environment for knowledge-sharing, professional development, research, networking and business-focused events in Durham.
Our Waterside conference facilities provide a contemporary setting for academic, business and professional events. We can support conferences, seminars, workshops, training and networking programmes within our modern Business School environment.
Our meeting and seminar rooms provide flexible environments for smaller academic and professional gatherings. We use these spaces for seminars, workshops, research meetings, training sessions and collaborative discussions.
