Silverholme Manor

Our Silverholme Manor provides an exclusive setting on the shores of Lake Windermere within the 5,000-acre Graythwaite Estate. Built in 1820, our Grade II listed Georgian manor combines period character with modern comforts following its restoration in 2013. We offer a private and flexible setting for weddings, celebrations, family gatherings, corporate events, conferences, away days and other private occasions. The Manor itself accommodates up to 18 adults, with additional accommodation available across the wider estate for larger groups. Our grounds extend towards the lake and provide opportunities for outdoor ceremonies, photographs, marquees and tipis. We also have a converted Coach House licensed for civil ceremonies and suitable for larger gatherings. Inside the Manor, our reception rooms provide flexible spaces for dining, entertaining and socialising, while modern facilities include a Sonos sound system and underfloor heating. Our dedicated team supports event planning, while guests can also make use of the wider Graythwaite Estate, including its extensive private grounds and estate facilities.
