The Grand, York is a landmark five-star hotel and events venue occupying the former headquarters of the North Eastern Railway, directly beside York's historic city walls and close to York railway station. With 207 guest rooms, a spa and multiple restaurants and bars, The Grand can support residential conferences and multi-day corporate events as well as standalone functions.

The Chairman's Suite is an elegant Edwardian room that was originally the office of the Chair of the North Eastern Railway. Wood-clad pillars, an ornate fireplace and views towards the City Walls create an intimate setting for meetings, private dining, celebrations and special occasions. It can connect with the Grand Boardroom.
The Gibb Suite features elegant dark wood paneling, historic sash windows, and an in-room plasma display. It is custom-tailored for intimate executive board meetings or private dining setups.
The Ridley provides a refined Edwardian setting for corporate meetings and intimate dining. It combines traditional styling with contemporary meeting facilities and is particularly suited to executive meetings, client dinners, training sessions and small receptions. Its scale makes it one of The Grand's most suitable spaces for focused meetings.
The Leeman Suite is configured almost identically to the Gibb Suite, boasting high Edwardian ceilings, large windows, and flexible furniture configurations to fit up to 30 theater-style delegates.
