University of Cumbria – Carlisle Fusehill Street Campus

At our Fusehill Street Campus in Carlisle, we provide a flexible setting for conferences, meetings and specialist events across health, science, business and education. Our campus is the University of Cumbria’s second-largest campus and is conveniently located around a ten-minute walk from Carlisle railway and bus stations. Our modern Learning Gateway building provides a 141-delegate lecture theatre, ten flexible meeting rooms accommodating between 20 and 32 people, and an open foyer that can be used for dining and exhibitions. We also offer technical equipment, free Wi-Fi and IT support throughout events. Guests can make use of our on-campus accommodation at Carrock Halls, which provides 85 en-suite bedrooms, while our catering team can provide breakfasts, buffet lunches and refreshments. We also have The Cube dining area, Calva Bar, a sports centre and gym, and a chapel available to guests. Our combination of flexible spaces and supporting facilities makes us a practical choice for a range of events.
