We are the College of St Hild & St Bede, Durham University, a historic and vibrant university college with a long tradition of academic, cultural and social activity. We are currently based at Rushford Court on North Road in Durham while our permanent College site undergoes redevelopment. Our current facilities include modern en-suite accommodation, common rooms, study spaces, a College Heart building, café bar, gym and library, creating a comfortable environment for our students and College community. Historically, our former St Hild's Lane site also provided extensive conference and event facilities, including Caedmon Hall and a range of meeting rooms that were used for conferences, meetings, seminars, banquets, weddings and residential events. Because we are currently operating from Rushford Court during the redevelopment period, we recommend confirming the availability and location of any external event facilities directly with Durham University before booking. Our central Durham location, close to the railway station and city centre, provides convenient access for visitors and groups.
