Carlisle Civic Centre

Located on Rickergate in central Carlisle, our Civic Centre is a prominent municipal building serving as a base for Cumberland Council and a setting for council meetings, workshops, training sessions and organised community events. Our facilities include several meeting and civic rooms that support different forms of official and professional activity. We provide spaces such as the Council Chamber, Cathedral Room, Petteril Room and Flensburg Room, which are used for meetings, discussions, presentations and workshops. Our central Carlisle location makes the building convenient for council representatives, community organisations and other professional groups attending organised sessions. We also provide customer-service facilities within the building, while nearby Civic Centre parking provides accessible parking options. As a working civic building rather than a dedicated commercial events venue, our spaces are primarily associated with council and community activities. We therefore provide a practical civic setting for meetings and organised events in central Carlisle.
