The Barn on The Bay

The Barn on The Bay is our family-run beachside wedding and events venue at Hemscott Hill Farm, directly beside the beautiful Druridge Bay on the Northumberland coast. We combine our working family farm with a collection of distinctive indoor and outdoor spaces, giving couples and groups the freedom to create a celebration that feels personal and relaxed. Our venue includes the Cowshed Wedding Barn for larger celebrations, Calico Barn for intimate weddings, a beachside ceremony space overlooking the bay, and access to the beach and dunes for more informal ceremonies. We also provide a rustic verandah and paddock for outdoor drinks and canapés, together with our on-farm kitchen and locally sourced, seasonal catering. Our accommodation options allow guests to stay on the farm, including our bunkbarn, cottage, camping pods and campsite. We can create everything from traditional weddings to laid-back festival celebrations, private parties and intimate gatherings, with our events team helping to coordinate each experience.
