Castle Green Hotel is our four-star hotel and events venue in Kendal, situated on the edge of the Lake District with views towards Kendal Castle and the Lakeland Fells. We offer a versatile setting for weddings, celebrations, conferences, meetings and corporate events, supported by a dedicated team that works closely with our guests to create well-organised occasions. Our venue sits within 14 acres of gardens and woodland, providing attractive surroundings for photographs, outdoor ceremonies and relaxed gatherings. We have a selection of function and meeting spaces, allowing us to accommodate both intimate occasions and larger events. Our facilities include complimentary Wi-Fi, extensive parking, presentation equipment, accommodation, dining facilities and access to our health and fitness club. For weddings, we are licensed for civil ceremonies and provide dedicated wedding support. We also host family celebrations, charity events, awards ceremonies, Christmas parties and other special occasions, with flexible spaces and catering options designed around each event.
Our Function Suite is our largest event space, accommodating up to 250 guests for dinner-style events. We provide a private entrance, large balcony, two private bars, dance floor, foyer, landscaped garden views, natural daylight and full blackout facilities. We can also divide the suite into two sections for smaller events.
Our Kendal Suite is designed for smaller gatherings, family functions and drinks receptions. We offer a private foyer with lounge seating, access to a bar, a dance floor, vaulted ceiling and furnished outdoor terrace. The terrace provides views across Kendal and towards the Lakeland Fells.
Our Garden Room provides an intimate setting for smaller meetings, gatherings and wedding ceremonies. We can accommodate up to 40 guests for ceremonies, while the room benefits from the wider surroundings of our landscaped gardens and the tranquil atmosphere of Castle Green.
Our Castle Room offers a more intimate environment within our conference facilities. We use this space for smaller business gatherings and meetings where a private, focused setting is preferred. Its smaller scale makes it particularly suitable for boardroom-style meetings and discussions.
Our Board Room is a compact meeting space designed for focused business discussions and smaller groups. We provide it as part of our conference facilities for organisations requiring a private environment for meetings, presentations and decision-making sessions.
Our Oak Room provides a flexible space for meetings, ceremonies and smaller events. We can accommodate up to 90 guests for wedding ceremonies, while different meeting layouts allow the room to be adapted to suit presentations, discussions and other business requirements.
Bindloss Room is one of our meeting spaces within the Business & Training Centre. We designed this room as an ideal setting for one-to-one meetings and smaller, focused discussions. Our room also provides direct access into our gardens, allowing guests to enjoy the surrounding outdoor setting. We include the Bindloss Room as part of our wider selection of flexible meeting spaces at Castle Green Hotel, where we can accommodate different business requirements in a comfortable and professional environment.
Woodlands Room is one of our meeting spaces within the Business & Training Centre. We offer this room as an ideal setting for one-to-one meetings and focused discussions. Our room benefits from air conditioning and views of the woodlands, creating a comfortable and pleasant environment for smaller business meetings.
