Wedderlie House

Wedderlie House is our beautifully maintained 16th-century private estate in the Scottish Borders, where we offer exclusive use for weddings, corporate retreats, private parties and special gatherings. We give our guests access to 50 acres of private grounds, restored historic barns, flexible function spaces, a fully staffed bar and extensive onsite accommodation. Our estate provides a relaxed environment where celebrations can unfold over several days rather than being restricted to a single event. We can accommodate corporate groups ranging from 10 to 200 people, while our wedding arrangements are designed around celebrations of up to 130 guests as standard, with larger events possible through additional arrangements. We provide accommodation for more than 50 guests across our Main House, Cottage, Hayloft and cabins. Our grounds also feature a tennis court, frisbee golf, beach volleyball, woodland, lawns and a walled rose garden. We aim to give every event the freedom, privacy and flexibility to create a celebration that feels genuinely personal and completely our own.
