Beamish Hall is a historic 13th-century country house hotel set within approximately 24 acres of woodland, landscaped gardens and parkland in County Durham. The property combines a traditional country-house setting with modern accommodation, conference facilities, wedding suites and private-event spaces. The Winter Gardens is the largest event space and has a marquee-style roof, large windows and a terrace overlooking the grounds. The wedding information gives a minimum of 80 and maximum of 280 for a wedding breakfast, with up to 300 for the evening.
The Monboucher is the former family sitting room and retains original character with bay windows overlooking the parkland.
Shafto Hall is a substantial historic function suite featuring oak panelling, stained-glass windows and a minstrels' gallery. It is particularly suited to conferences, formal dinners, weddings, receptions and larger private functions.
The Common Room is a smaller period-style event space suitable for meetings, intimate receptions, civil ceremonies, private dining and smaller wedding celebrations. Its historic character and manageable size make it particularly appropriate for intimate functions.
