National Brownfield Institute, University of Wolverhampton

Located within the University of Wolverhampton’s Springfield Campus, our National Brownfield Institute provides a specialist environment for research, innovation, business collaboration and events connected with brownfield regeneration, construction and the built environment. We combine research expertise with specialist facilities, commercial testing capabilities and industry engagement, creating opportunities for businesses, researchers, policymakers and other organisations to meet and collaborate. Our facilities have been used for networking events, business briefings, seminars, workshops and innovation-focused activities, including recent University and regional business events. We also provide access to specialist technologies and research facilities, including the Igloo immersive visualisation facility. The Institute forms part of the wider Springfield Campus, which brings together education, research, skills and industry activity.
