Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college located in Askham Bryan, approximately four miles from York city centre. The Conference Centre is the principal large event space at Askham Bryan College. It accommodates up to 250 theatre-style, 120 cabaret, 50 boardroom, 30 U-shape and 60 classroom-style delegates. It is suitable for conferences, seminars, presentations, training events and exhibitions requiring substantial indoor capacity.
Designed with professional presentations in mind, the tiered auditorium setup offers crisp acoustics and unobstructed sightlines. It features integrated multimedia displays, presentation podiums, and comfortable seating—making it a perfect venue for academic symposia, corporate briefings, guest speaker panels, and media events.
Committee Room A is the smaller specifically published meeting room. It accommodates up to 50 theatre-style, 40 cabaret, 22 boardroom, 18 U-shape and 16 classroom-style delegates. It is appropriate for smaller meetings, training sessions, workshops, interviews and breakout activities associated with larger conferences.
The campus has catering facilities including a refectory and deli/coffee facilities. These areas support delegates attending conferences and events, providing food and refreshments alongside the dedicated conference facilities.
