Southside is a multi-faceted arts, culture, and community venue located at the southern gateway of Lincoln, England. Operating out of a Grade II listed former mid-Victorian church next to South Common, this grassroots hub breathes new life into historic architecture. It hosts an engaging program of live music—spanning jazz, rock, and punk—alongside theatrical performances, heritage talks, and weddings. The open, flexible space fosters emerging talent and connects a diverse local audience.
The Church is a large events space at the Southside featuring gorgeous Victorian architecture ideal for live music, large gatherings, and wedding receptions. with the capacity to accommodate 220 guests in theatre layout, 180 guests in cabaret layout and 350 guests standing.
The Auditorium is the adjoining, secondary performance space optimized for theatrical performances, cabaret-style seating, and intimate shows with the capacity to accommodate 120 guests in theatre layout, 80 guests in cabaret layout and 220 guests standing.
