The Timble Inn

The Timble Inn is our family-owned, Grade II listed 18th-century coaching inn nestled in the beautiful Washburn Valley. We combine historic character with comfortable contemporary facilities, making us a welcoming setting for dining, overnight stays, corporate gatherings and private occasions. Our building has foundations dating back to 1200AD, while our present inn was extensively renovated and restored before reopening in 2010. We have nine individually designed bedrooms, a cosy restaurant and bar, and several different areas that we can adapt for corporate and private use. Our secluded cottage lounge can be arranged in boardroom or theatre style, or used as a relaxed reception space. We can provide presentation equipment, stationery, a projector and screen, as well as refreshments ranging from coffee and cake to a five-course gourmet meal. We are surrounded by the countryside of the Washburn Valley, with Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs close by, giving our guests opportunities to combine business gatherings with relaxing walks and countryside experiences.
