The Crown Hotel, Boroughbridge is a Grade II listed historic coaching inn situated on Horsefair in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire. The property dates from the 18th century and has been developed into a contemporary hotel while retaining its historic character. Its location just off the A1 makes it convenient for events involving delegates travelling between Leeds, York and other parts of Yorkshire. The hotel currently provides accommodation, dining, leisure facilities and dedicated conference and event spaces. Our hotel is particularly suitable for corporate meetings, conferences, team-building events, weddings and private celebrations. Its principal business-event facility is the St Helena Suite, which currently accommodates up to 120 delegates theatre-style. The suite can also be configured for classroom, boardroom, U-shape and cabaret layouts. A smaller Boardroom provides space for up to 30 theatre-style delegates. For social events, the hotel offers the Restaurant, which can accommodate up to 60 guests, and an Events Suite for parties of up to 40. The Coffee Bar can provide an informal gathering or breakout area. The St Helena Suite is the principal conference and function space. It accommodates up to 120 theatre-style, 80 cabaret/social, 50 classroom, 45 boardroom and 35 U-shape. It has natural daylight, air conditioning, no pillars and accessibility features.
The Events Suite is a medium-sized private event space for groups of up to 40 people. It is promoted for informal celebrations with buffets and entertainment as well as dedicated corporate meetings.
The Boardroom is designed for smaller corporate meetings, training and workshops. It accommodates up to 30 theatre-style, 16 boardroom and 14 U-shape. The room has natural light, is accessible and has no pillars.
