Durham Masonic Hall

At Durham Masonic Hall, we offer a distinctive historic venue in the heart of Durham City for weddings, celebrations, meetings and corporate events. Our building dates from the nineteenth century and retains many of its original character features, including oak-panelled walls, high ceilings, stained glass and elegant crystal chandeliers. We provide several flexible spaces, allowing us to accommodate intimate meetings as well as larger celebrations. Our Grand Hall is our principal event space and provides direct access to our private patio and split-level gardens. We also have a Committee Room for smaller meetings and a comfortable Bar Area for informal gatherings and breakout sessions. Our in-house chef provides catering for events ranging from buffets to formal dinners, while our licensed bar supports celebrations and private functions. We provide Wi-Fi, presentation equipment and professional event support, together with accessible facilities throughout the first and ground floors. We aim to combine historic character, flexible facilities and attentive service to create memorable events for our guests.
