We are The Sands Centre, a major events, entertainment, leisure and community venue located close to Carlisle city centre beside the River Eden. We provide a flexible events auditorium alongside sports and leisure facilities, allowing us to host a wide range of performances, community activities, corporate events and sporting programmes. Our refurbished auditorium features new customer seating, upgraded theatre lighting and improved backstage facilities, while our wider complex includes a sports hall, swimming pools, fitness studios and other leisure facilities. We also provide on-site parking and accessible facilities for visitors. Our flexible events space can be configured for different types of performances and gatherings, from seated shows and comedy performances to larger standing events. With our central Carlisle location and broad range of facilities, we provide a versatile setting for entertainment, community and organised events across Carlisle and the wider Cumbria region.
