Radisson Blu Hotel, Durham is a contemporary riverside hotel situated on the banks of the River Wear, within walking distance of Durham's historic city centre and UNESCO World Heritage attractions. The Auger Suite is the hotel's flagship event space and its largest flexible room. The 270m² suite can operate as one large venue or be divided into Auger 1 and Auger 2. It is designed for conferences, gala dinners, exhibitions, product launches, weddings, charity events and large social celebrations.
The Cavil Room is a flexible meeting and private-event facility divided by internal partitions into three sections. It is suitable for meetings, interviews, training, workshops, private dining and smaller celebrations. The three sections can operate independently or together, with the complete room accommodating up to 80 delegates theatre-style.
The Drift Room is a compact, flexible meeting facility designed primarily for training sessions, interviews and smaller business events. Its internal partition allows the space to operate as two sections and creates an additional syndicate area. The combined room accommodates up to 40 delegates theatre-style and 22 banquet-style.
The Kist Room is a compact flexible meeting facility that can operate as two smaller rooms or as one combined space. It is designed for small events, training sessions and interviews. The two sections can be used independently, while the combined facility accommodates up to 40 guests and provides an additional syndicate area.
The Seam Room is a 76m² flexible event space with natural daylight and a contemporary design. It is suitable for smaller conferences, training sessions, meetings, dinners, birthday celebrations and other social functions. Its riverside setting and adaptable layouts make it a useful middle-sized room between the hotel's intimate meeting rooms and Auger Suite.
The Kirve Room is the hotel's smallest dedicated meeting space and is designed for intimate senior-level meetings and private dining. Its fixed boardroom arrangement accommodates up to eight delegates. The room benefits from waterfront views and natural daylight, making it particularly appropriate for confidential meetings, executive discussions and small private dining occasions.
