Tynemouth Golf Club

Tynemouth Golf Club is an established parkland golf club situated at Spital Dene/King Edward Road in Tynemouth, North Shields. The club dates back to 1913, when the course was designed by renowned golf-course architect Willie Park. It is an 18-hole, par-70 course extending to approximately 6,343 yards from the medal tees. Beyond golf, Tynemouth Golf Club has a clubhouse offering hospitality, catering, a bar, lounge and dining room, as well as changing facilities and showers. The club explicitly welcomes visiting parties and provides hospitality for groups, while its current website has a dedicated Hospitality & Events Enquiry channel. The clubhouse includes a function room available for hire, making the venue suitable for smaller social and corporate occasions. Previous venue information describes the function room alongside the restaurant and bar as part of the club's event facilities. The venue is particularly suited to golf society events, corporate golf days, private gatherings, social functions, club presentations and dining events rather than large conferences or major exhibitions. Its experienced catering team can accommodate catering requirements, while visitors have access to the club's bar, lounge, dining room and other clubhouse facilities. The club also provides wheelchair access and disabled facilities.
