Hamps Hall and Barn is our unique Peak District group venue, bringing together two connected properties in a peaceful countryside setting near Waterfall. We can accommodate up to 40 overnight guests across 18 bedrooms, giving groups the opportunity to stay together and enjoy exclusive use of the property. Our facilities include spacious reception and dining rooms, fully equipped kitchens, games facilities, hot tubs, private gardens and countryside walks directly from the property. For wedding receptions, we can welcome up to 120 guests in total, with 40 overnight guests and up to 80 additional day guests. We do not hold a wedding licence, so ceremonies take place at nearby churches or registry offices before guests join us for the reception. We offer a flexible, self-catering approach, allowing our guests to bring their own food and drink or arrange external caterers and suppliers. Our connected Hall and Barn also make us suitable for birthdays, corporate gatherings, team-building and family celebrations.
We offer our approximately 50-foot-long reception room as the principal party and social space. We can use it for wedding receptions, celebrations, dancing and group gatherings, with amplified music permitted indoors through our own sound system.
Our dining facilities give groups a dedicated space for communal meals. We normally arrange the dining area for smaller groups, but it can accommodate up to 60 guests when requested in advance for wedding events.
We have private gardens and surrounding countryside where guests can enjoy outdoor meals, BBQs and group activities. Our neighbouring field can also be used for activities or a marquee, subject to our venue rules.
