Runa Farm is our rustic-inspired hotel, country pub and wedding venue in the beautiful County Durham countryside, where we combine natural rural beauty with relaxed Balearic-inspired style. We offer a distinctive setting for couples and groups looking for something more individual, from intimate celebrations to larger wedding parties and festival-style occasions. Our venue includes our atmospheric Chapel, characterful Old Barn, private terraces and extensive outdoor areas, allowing celebrations to move seamlessly between indoor and outdoor spaces. We also provide field-to-fork dining, an outdoor kitchen, wood-fired pizza oven, fire pits and a range of accommodation for guests wishing to stay. We are particularly known for outdoor ceremonies, Mediterranean-inspired celebrations and relaxed festival weddings, while our facilities can also support meetings, gatherings and other private events. With exclusive use, experienced wedding coordinators, on-site catering and accommodation, we provide a complete countryside celebration experience where our guests can gather, eat, stay and enjoy the unique character of Runa Farm.
Our Chapel is our distinctive indoor ceremony space, featuring an ornate tented ceiling, polished stone walls, lanterns and a dramatic staircase leading directly to the wedding aisle. Its published ceremony capacity is approximately 118 guests.
Our Old Barn is our main celebration and dining space, combining exposed stone and timber character with private terraces on two sides. We use it for eating, drinking, dancing and wedding celebrations.
Our open-air spaces feature Mediterranean-inspired lounge seating, fire pits, and outdoor dining pergolas set against the farm's unique architecture.
