The Dovecote Barns

The Dovecote Barns is our collection of historic 18th-century barn conversions in the peaceful rural village of Kelfield, just outside York. We have transformed the original buildings into sustainable five-star accommodation while retaining many of their historic features and creating comfortable, stylish spaces for our guests. We use renewable energy throughout the barns and have designed our accommodation with sustainability and energy efficiency in mind. Our four self-contained barns can be booked individually or together for exclusive use, accommodating up to 22 overnight guests across 11 en-suite bedrooms. We also offer The Long Hall as our communal dining and event space, making us suitable for celebrations, weddings, retreats and group gatherings. For weddings, our Long Hall can accommodate up to 56 guests, while our wider facilities provide a comfortable base for those staying with us. We combine peaceful countryside surroundings, group dining, sustainable accommodation and easy access to York, creating a welcoming setting for memorable group experiences.
