Ashville College is a large independent school and events campus situated on Green Lane in Harrogate. The College makes a substantial proportion of its facilities available for external hire through its dedicated Events and Lettings operation. The campus covers approximately 70 acres of landscaped grounds and combines historic school architecture with modern event, sporting, performing-arts and hospitality facilities.
The venue can support a particularly broad range of events, including conferences, corporate events, weddings, exhibitions, training courses, celebrations, music and drama performances, festivals, sporting events, residential camps and summer schools.
Its largest event facility is Soothill Hall, a substantial auditorium that the College currently describes as seating up to 600 people. External venue directories generally list its conference capacity as 560, so 600 should be regarded as the current College-published auditorium capacity, with 560 retained as the commonly listed conference figure.
Smaller events can use the Memorial Hall, Dining Hall, Drama Studio, classrooms and meeting rooms, while the sports centre and outdoor grounds create options for sporting, team-building and large outdoor activities. The College can also provide accommodation through its boarding facilities.
Its combination of large-capacity auditorium, smaller meeting spaces, catering, technical support, sports facilities, outdoor grounds and accommodation makes Ashville one of the more versatile institutional event venues in the Harrogate area.
