We are a secluded country-house venue in the Scottish Borders, combining the character of a castle-like tower with the grandeur of a Georgian country mansion. We offer a distinctive setting for weddings, family gatherings, parties, corporate events and retreats, with both intimate and more formal indoor and outdoor spaces. Our function rooms include the Rouge Drawing Room, Panelled Dining Room, Eggshell Sitting Room, Grand Hall and our magnificent Ballroom with its own Victorian Club Bar. We also have outdoor options including our covered veranda, Rose Arch and ancient copper beech tree. Our accommodation can sleep up to 40 guests, allowing groups to stay on site and enjoy exclusive use of the house and grounds. We provide catering options, dining facilities, a fully licensed bar and a range of individual bedrooms and suites. With our secluded setting yet easy access to Edinburgh, Newcastle and Glasgow, we offer a private and flexible environment for memorable celebrations, corporate gatherings and retreats.
