Whitby Pavilion

Whitby Pavilion provides a large, flexible entertainment and function venue overlooking the Yorkshire coast. Our facilities combine a traditional theatre with several adaptable event spaces, allowing us to host performances, concerts, festivals, dances, exhibitions, seminars, workshops and community events. The Pavilion Theatre has a fixed Victorian stage and 360 seats, including 230 seats in the stalls and 118 in the balcony. Our Northern Lights Suite provides a larger flexible space for live music, festivals and other events, while the Exhibition Hall can operate independently or alongside the Northern Lights Suite. We also have the Undercroft and Crystal Lounge, giving organisers additional options for different event formats. Backstage facilities include four dressing rooms and a large lounge. Our location on West Cliff provides convenient access to Whitby's town centre, public transport and substantial nearby parking.
