The Green Dragon Inn

The Green Dragon Inn is a distinctive setting in the historic Yorkshire Dales village of Hardraw, overlooking Upper Wensleydale and surrounded by the fells and countryside. Our 13th-century inn combines traditional Dales character with modern comforts, creating a warm and welcoming environment for celebrations, dining and entertainment. We have preserved original features including flagged floors, open fires, beamed ceilings and stone walls, while our restored Hardraw Hall provides a dedicated space for larger gatherings and wedding receptions. Our team offers locally sourced food, traditional ales, wines and a range of drinks, alongside accommodation across 25 individually designed bedrooms and apartments. We can support weddings, live music, private celebrations and seasonal events, with a private bar, raised stage, professional lighting and sound facilities available in Hardraw Hall. Our location also gives guests direct access to the beautiful surroundings of Hardraw Force, providing an impressive backdrop for photographs and memorable occasions throughout the year in the Yorkshire Dales.
