New House Farm

Dating back to 1650, New House Farm combines the character of a historic Grade II listed farmhouse with modern facilities across fifteen acres of fields, woodland, streams and ponds in the Lorton Valley. Our setting is surrounded by panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and provides a private countryside backdrop for weddings and celebrations. The Hayloft is our principal wedding reception space, combining exposed stone walls, oak beams, rustic character and modern facilities, with its own professional kitchen and capacity for up to 130 guests. The Cart Shed provides a beautiful setting for ceremonies and drinks receptions, while the Milking Parlour offers another intimate and characterful space. We provide exclusive use for weddings, allowing couples and their guests to enjoy the venue privately. Our accommodation includes five individually designed en-suite bedrooms, while our gardens and surrounding countryside provide opportunities for photographs and outdoor celebrations.
