Ellingham Hall is our exclusive-use country house wedding and events venue in the Northumberland countryside. We give our couples the opportunity to enjoy the Hall, its 8 acres of private grounds and our accommodation as their own during their stay. Our signature offering is our Two Night Wedding Experience, designed to turn a wedding into a longer celebration with family and friends. We have a beautiful 19th-century Chapel, several indoor and outdoor ceremony locations, reception rooms, gardens, private woodland and terraces. Our accommodation includes two luxurious wedding suites and 20 boutique guest rooms, allowing us to sleep up to 42 guests on site. We also welcome private and corporate events, so our spaces can be used beyond weddings. With our in-house culinary team, experienced events team, Chapel Bar, rooftop lounge, Dog Parlour and underground entertainment space, we aim to make each celebration personal, relaxed and memorable.

19th-Century Chapel

Our historic Chapel is our largest indoor ceremony space, with original stone architecture and vaulted ceilings. We accommodate up to 140 seated guests for ceremonies and wedding breakfasts, and up to 180 evening guests.

Ceremony Room

Our bright Ceremony Room overlooks the front lawn and features an ornate fireplace, painted wall panelling and chandeliers. We can seat up to 90 guests here for a ceremony.

Front South-Facing Lawn

Our front lawn provides an outdoor ceremony setting beneath the pergola. We can accommodate up to 140 seated guests here for larger outdoor ceremonies

Under the Hollies

Our woodland ceremony setting sits beside the east lawn, with holly trees, streams and waterfalls creating a natural backdrop. We can accommodate up to 10 seated or 130 standing guests.

The Rooftop

Our rooftop offers panoramic views across the grounds and towards the Northumberland coast. We can host outdoor ceremonies for up to 60 guests, with access to the mezzanine and rooftop lounge.
