The Ro Hotel

Set in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere, we provide a relaxed lakeside setting for weddings, celebrations, corporate gatherings and private events. Our four-star hotel combines comfortable accommodation with dedicated event spaces, a restaurant, bar, terrace and extensive leisure facilities. For weddings, we can host celebrations ranging from intimate ceremonies for two through to larger occasions of up to 150 guests, depending on the event style and room layout. Our wedding packages include dedicated coordination, catering, accommodation options and, for selected packages, private bar hire, a dancefloor and PA system. We offer three principal wedding rooms: the intimate Sun Room, the Ballroom and our largest Ashville Suite. Our Terrace provides an attractive setting for photographs overlooking the lake, although outdoor wedding ceremonies are not currently offered. Guests can also enjoy our swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness facilities and spa treatments. With Lake Windermere nearby, we provide a convenient setting for memorable celebrations and residential events.
