ATACO Country Resort is a long-established Fort Portal resort that has operated since 1994 and is located on Kikuukule Road in the Kasusu-Nsoro area, approximately 5 km from Fort Portal town. The property is positioned away from the main urban centre while remaining accessible from the Kasese Road corridor, with views towards the Rwenzori Mountains and access to the wider tourism attractions of the Fort Portal and western Uganda region. The resort combines accommodation, dining, recreation and event facilities within an open property designed around gardens and outdoor spaces. Its accommodation consists of self-contained cottages, including Garden View Single, Garden View Double and Garden View Twin cottages, while the grounds include a swimming pool, children's play area, restaurant and bar.
