We are the Cross Keys Hotel, a historic hotel situated in the heart of Kelso's picturesque French-style cobbled square. Our present building dates from 1769, and we combine the character of a traditional Scottish coaching inn with modern facilities for business, weddings, meetings and celebrations. We provide three dedicated function rooms, giving us flexibility for both intimate gatherings and larger occasions. Our Ballroom is our largest event space, accommodating up to 280 people in theatre style and offering a private bar, dance floor, staging and PA system. For smaller events, our Dickson Room and Oak Room provide more intimate settings for meetings, training, private dining and wedding ceremonies. We also provide 27 bedrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, free parking, a restaurant and lounge bar, conferencing facilities and a licensed outdoor area. Our experienced team can customise food and beverage packages to suit different requirements, making us a versatile venue for weddings, business events, family celebrations and private functions.
We provide our largest and most versatile function room on the first floor. It is fully air-conditioned and features staging, a PA system, dance floor and private bar. We can accommodate up to 280 people in theatre style, while the room can also be divided for smaller events.
We offer our ground-floor Dickson Room as a quiet and private setting for meetings, training seminars, private dining and smaller wedding ceremonies. It accommodates up to 50 people in theatre style and is particularly suitable for wheelchair access.
We provide our Oak Room as a more intimate function space with its own private bar and dance floor. It accommodates up to 40 people in theatre style and is suitable for smaller gatherings, private dining and celebrations.
