Rockliffe Hall is a luxury five-star resort in Hurworth-on-Tees, County Durham, set within approximately 375 acres of estate grounds near Darlington. The property combines accommodation, conference facilities, golf, spa and dining, making it suitable for residential conferences, corporate away days, meetings, celebrations and private events. Its conference material describes a collection of spacious meeting and event rooms, with facilities designed for both intimate meetings and larger gatherings.
The conference facilities include the Rockliffe Suite, Bowes, Stanwick, Campernella, Sequoia and Sycamore, with different capacities and layouts. Rockliffe's own venue information provides theatre, classroom, cabaret, U-shaped, boardroom, reception and dinner capacities for the principal meeting spaces. The largest official configuration, the Rockliffe Suite, accommodates up to 200 theatre-style delegates and 150 for dinner.
The wider estate and historic Old Hall provide additional spaces for celebrations and weddings. Previous wedding information identifies the Orangery, Rockliffe Suite, Morning Room, Old Hall, Glasshouse and outdoor areas as event settings. However, Rockliffe currently states that wedding bookings are paused while the historic Old Hall undergoes transformation, with a new wedding experience being developed for 2026.
The resort also provides golf, an award-winning spa, dining, accommodation, complimentary parking and outdoor estate activities, making it particularly suitable for corporate residential events and team-building programmes.
