The Granary Estates is an award-winning, luxury 18th-century restored barn wedding and events venue located in the picturesque village of Woodditton, Newmarket, on the Suffolk and Cambridgeshire border. Set amid rolling cornfields, the private estate beautifully blends historic rustic charm with contemporary luxury, featuring original flint walls, striking oak timber beams, and a modern open glass walkway.
The Granary Barn is the larger of the two spaces, boasting tall ceilings, timber beans, original flint walls and endless styling opportunities. With a standing capacity of 240, and theatre style capacity of 180, our Granary Barn is the ideal space for large celebrations, awards or conferences.
The Flint Barn is the smaller of the two, similarly equipped with the original timber beams and flint walls but complete with some additional rustic charm. It accommodates up to 88 guests and this versatile space lends itself perfectly for small meetings or intimate conferences. It can also be used as a welcoming/networking area for gatherings held in the Granary Barn.
Our Outdoor Ceremony option is available for weddings taking place between April and September in our beautiful courtyard space. This period has been chosen to offer the best potential for favourable weather conditions, and to fit in with the legal requirements from the registrars. The stunning garden is filled with seasonal flowers that can create a vibrant and enchanting atmosphere and it accommodates up to 120 guests.
With capacity for 15 people in a boardroom or U-shape format, this space is perfect for smaller meetings, breakout spaces or staff areas.
