The Hawkhills is a historic country house and conference estate situated in Easingwold, approximately 12–13 miles from York city centre. Set within approximately 240 acres of parkland, woodland, gardens and open countryside, the property combines the character of a Georgian/Victorian country house with a purpose-built modern conference centre. It has a long association with government and professional training and is now used for conferences, meetings, corporate training, team-building activities, weddings and private functions. The conference facilities are designed primarily around flexible business and training use. The venue's conference brochure lists a conference theatre together with 21 seminar rooms, four of which can be combined to accommodate up to 80 delegates. The conference theatre can seat up to 180 people theatre-style or 75 cabaret-style and is equipped with integrated AV and presentation technology. The property also offers historic dining rooms, including the Oak Dining Room and White Dining Room, with formal dining for up to 170 guests and informal dining for up to 200. Both the Oak and White Rooms are licensed for civil ceremonies, with the venue also offering an outdoor ceremony option in the Walled Garden. A major advantage is its 102 on-site double en-suite bedrooms, allowing delegates and wedding guests to stay at the venue. Other facilities include a bar, restaurant/dining suites, coffee lounge, gym, snooker table, free Wi-Fi, on-site parking and extensive outdoor space suitable for team-building and outdoor networking.

The Conference Theatre is The Hawkhills' largest dedicated presentation space and is designed for conferences, lectures, presentations and corporate events. It provides integrated AV and IT infrastructure, surround-sound equipment, a PA system, dual lecterns, multi-screen presentation capability and a viewing gallery, making it the venue's principal large-format conference room.
The seminar rooms form the core of The Hawkhills' flexible training and meeting provision. Rooms vary in size and are bright, airy and oriented towards the estate's grounds. Four rooms can be opened together to create a larger meeting environment for up to 80 delegates, making them suitable for breakout sessions and training.
The White Dining Room is an ornate period dining and ceremony room with elegant architectural detailing and French doors opening towards the front lawns. It can accommodate approximately 70 guests and is licensed for civil ceremonies. Its direct connection with the outdoor grounds makes it particularly suitable for weddings, receptions and formal private dining.
The vast outdoor grounds serve as a dynamic event space for teamwork games, orienteering, and grand marquee weddings. Guests can utilize the extensive orchard pathways and lush greenery for scenic walks or casual outdoor networking breaks. It adds a beautiful, relaxing layer to multi-day corporate packages.
