SEC Armadillo is our iconic purpose-built auditorium on Glasgow's waterfront, designed by Foster + Partners and opened in 1997. We provide a distinctive setting for conferences, corporate events, live entertainment and special productions, with our auditorium accommodating up to 3,000 people. Our flexible configuration allows the ground floor to operate independently for audiences of approximately 1,183, while additional seating areas can be incorporated to create larger configurations. We support events with modern AV, projection, lighting and sound technology, alongside dedicated backstage facilities, dressing rooms, production offices and crew facilities. Our Forth and Gala spaces provide additional meeting and breakout capacity beside the main auditorium, while the Firth Bar offers an informal setting for receptions and networking. We are part of the wider Scottish Event Campus, giving organisers access to complementary exhibition, meeting and entertainment facilities across the campus.

We provide Gala as a flexible breakout and meeting room that can accommodate 150 theatre-style or divide into two smaller rooms, each holding up to 60 people.

Forth

Our Forth room provides flexible meeting and event space directly alongside the Auditorium, making us suitable for conferences, breakout sessions, meetings, receptions and smaller corporate events.

Gala 1

Our Gala 1 room provides an intimate meeting and breakout environment, suitable for smaller conferences, workshops, presentations and corporate meetings alongside the main Auditorium.
