Low Hall The Lakes

Low Hall The Lakes is our secluded little haven between Lorton and Cockermouth, at the top of the Lake District. We bring together our 17th-century farmhouse, our characterful Lovable Old Barn and two acres of beautiful natural grounds, with views across the Lakeland fells, woodland and a babbling brook. We are deliberately different from a conventional hotel or polished wedding venue: our spaces are relaxed, personal and designed to give couples and event organisers plenty of freedom to make the setting their own. Our Lovable Old Barn provides a beautiful blank canvas for larger celebrations, while our farmhouse, garden and woodland offer more intimate settings. We are licensed for civil ceremonies in four indoor locations, with outdoor ceremonies also possible. We offer exclusive use of the farmhouse, grounds and barn, together with six en-suite bedrooms sleeping up to 12 guests and camping for additional guests. Beyond weddings, we welcome corporate events, private parties, workshops and one-off events.
